Like the S10+, its triple camera module has options for wide-angle and telephoto shots, and the camera app features an incredibly powerful array of video tools, including manual controls and LG's Cine Video mode that allows you to apply LUTs to your footage like on a real video camera. It's great on paper too, with a Snapdragon 845 and LG's excellent Quad DAC.

OnePlus 7 Pro
Bet you didn't expect to see a OnePlus phone on a Verizon list, huh? The company's recent handsets support Verizon's network, and while it's not available directly through the carrier, the 7 Pro is an absolutely unbeatable phone for the price. You get the same top-tier specs as the other phones on this list, plus a pop-up selfie camera, an almost completely bezel-less display, and a triple camera system, for hundreds less than the competition.
Best budget phone
Google Pixel 3a
The Pixel 3a is a cheaper, polycarbonate version of last year's Pixel 3 with a nearly identical design and the same barebones Android software, guaranteed to receive regular updates for three years. Its performance isn't quite as snappy, but the Pixel 3a has the same incredible camera experience we've come to expect from Google, including Night Sight and Portrait Mode. This is by far the best photography experience you can get for the money.
The S10+ isn't your only great option
If you're looking for the best combination of fast software, superb cameras, and all-day battery life, the Galaxy S10+ is the phone to beat. It packs the highest-end Snapdragon processor on the market, and includes everything from reverse wireless charging for topping up your accessories to Samsung Pay and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
But if you're looking to maximize productivity, shoot your next short film on the go, or you're just after a better deal, Verizon has some other great options in its selection. There's simply no beating the Note 9's S Pen if you're into stylus input, whether for drawing or just better accuracy, and its huge screen comes as an added bonus. Similarly, LG offers unparalleled manual video controls on the V40 ThinQ for mobile videographers, along with a suite of LUTs to apply for different visual styles.
If stills are more your style, the Pixel 3 manages to pull off class-leading photography with its single rear camera — of course, you get first-in-line access to new versions of Android, as well. For half the price, you can also pick up the Pixel 3a, with reduced build quality and performance but the same outstanding camera.
Lastly, sitting outside of Verizon's selection is the newly released OnePlus 7 Pro, which brings a lot of what makes the other phones in this list great into a cheaper flagship. For under $700, you get the same Snapdragon 855 as the Galaxy S10+, an incredible edge-to-edge display, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. You don't get official water resistance certification, and the cameras are a bit lacking compared to the other options, but it's an excellent all-around phone for considerably less money.
