What’s new on HBO Max in August 2021? Well, we will get two more big-budget Warner Bros. movies to stream at home for 31 days, along with the third season of a popular DC Comics based super hero series and more.

Here’s a look at what’s new on HBO Max this month, along with what’s leaving the streaming service. You can sign up for HBO Max at the link below, or you might get it for no additional cost with your HBO cable subscription.
The Sucide Squad (August 6)
The long-awaited next movie in this DC Comics film series looks to be a huge hit. Writer-director James Gunn has used the humorous style he perfected on the Guardians of the Galaxy series for this R-rated film. As with the last movie, this film centers on a team of super-powered criminals who are recruited by the government to handle missions that are off the books. However, many on this team won’t make it out alive. It features Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, along with John Cena as Peacemaker, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, Pete Davidson as Blackguard, and many more in a truly all-star cast.
This movie will only be on HBO Max for 31 days after it drops, before likely returning to the service later in 2021. It will also only be available for people on the $14.99 a month no ads plan.
Reminiscence (August 20)
Hugh Jackman stars in this sci-fi thriller. Set in a near-future timeline where the Earth’s seas are sinking the city of Miami, Jackman plays a man who uses high-end tech to allow his customers to completely relive any of their past memories as if they were actually there. Jackman soon falls in love with a woman, played by Rebecca Ferguson, with a mysterious past. When she is accused of murder, Jackman must enter her mind and memories to uncover the truth.

Titans Season 3 (August 12)
The DC Comics superhero team series returns for its latest season, and the first new season on HBO Max. The young members of the team have to deal with a mysterious new invigilating called the Red Hood, who is trying to clean up Gotham City with his own violent methods.
