Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) Announced with Android 9 Pie & 4G LTE
Samsung has announced its Galaxy Tab 8.0 (2019) Edition that has support for S Pen with a slot. The tablet will be available in Grey and Black Colour options and will be going for sale soon in Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam as well in the UK. Furthermore, it comes in Wi-Fi as well as 4G LTE variants with the support for Type-C charging port.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 comes with a big 8.0-inch display as its name suggests with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolutions. Under the hood, there will be an Octa-Core Exynos 7904 14nm SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and Mali-G71 GPU. Moreover, there is an 8MP camera on the rear which will be accompanied by a 5MP camera for video calling and selfies. The handset will be available in 32GB storage option that can be extended further up to 512GB with a microSD card slot.
Out if the box, it will be coming with Android 9.0 Pie operating system but nothing is known about its further updates as of now. The device measures 201.5 x 122.4 x 8.9mm and weighs 325 grams which is slightly on the heavier side even for a tablet. There is a 4200mAh battery on the back which might not support any fast charging technology but we should know about it from the company soon.
Recently we have seen Samsung launched its Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019)with 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and will have a big 6150mAh battery it was powered by an Exynos 7904 14nm processor with eight cores, coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali G71 GPU and had the similar 8MP camera on the rear along with 5MP selfie camera.
