Thunder Force (April 9)

Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer star in this superhero comedy movie. They play childhood friends who, as adults, get injected with a serum that gives them superpowers (incredible strength for McCarthy and invisibility for Spencer). They try to protect their city from crime, but they also have to deal with super-powered villains as well.

Shadow and Bone (April 23)

This series is based on the acclaimed Grishaverse novels from author Leigh Bardugo. It focuses on a young woman who lives in the fantasy kingdom. She travels with others in a region of the country known as the Fold when hostile creatures attack her group. She then summons a previously unknown supernatural ability to take out the creatures. After that, she has to deal with very human enemies who see her and her powers as a threat.

Stowaway (April 22)

Anna Kendrick, Daniel Dae Kim, and Toni Collette play astronauts on a two year trip to Mars in this movie. However, soon after the launch, they find an unintentional stowaway on board, played by Shamier Anderson. At first, the four people get along fine. However, later into the mission, the ship’s life support systems suffer an accident. The result is that it can now only support three people. Which person on the crew will have to sacrifice themselves to save the other three?

The Mitchells vs. The Machines (April 30)

The latest animated feature from the makers of Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse is dropping exclusively on Netflix in April. The Mitchells are your typical suburban family, who are forced to deal with a global takeover of A.I. and robots. Can the Mitchells fight off the robot apocalypse?
