The best new movie trailers and TV show teasers for upcoming streaming titles

Castlevania season 4

Netflix recently released a new trailer for the final season of its hugely popular animated series — Castlevania.  Season 4 will go back to where it all started and end with a bang. Dracula’s influence looms large as Belmont and Sypha investigate plans to bring the notorious vampire back from the dead. Isaac and Hector build up an army of creatures and Alucard struggles to embrace his humanity.

The Kominsky Method season 3

Another Netflix finale on the horizon, we got a trailer for The Kominsky Method returning for its third installment. A new chapter unfolds for washed-out actor Sandy Kominsky (Michael Douglas) as he deals with the difficult loss of his friend Norman (Alan Arkin). He also has a daunting financial obligation, an important reunion, and a major career boost on the cards. P.S. Morgan Freeman joins the cast this final season.

Sweet Tooth

Summer is going to be pretty sweet on Netflix with shows like this one coming up. The trailer for Sweet Tooth introduces us to the hybrids — babies born part human, part animal. Humans are unsure if the hybrids are a result of a virus or if they are the cause. Nevertheless, the creatures are hunted and unwanted. The main storyline will revolve around a sheltered hybrid deer-boy named Gus (Christian Convery) who unexpectedly befriends a wandering loner named Jepperd (Nonso Anozie). Together they set out on an extraordinary adventure across post-apocalyptic America in search of answers about Gus’ origins. The show is based on a DC comic book series. It’ll premiere this June.

Blue Miracle

This is the true story of how members of a Mexican boys home entered the world’s biggest fishing tournament to save their orphanage after Hurricane Odile came in and destroyed it. The new movie trailer for Blue Miracle sees Dennis Quaid don the captain’s hat and shows Jimmy Gonzales as the caretaker of the orphan children. If you’re looking for inspiration to do some good this summer, this film might be worth a watch.

Hit & Run

The trailer for Hit & Run presents a high-octane thriller series centered around one man’s quest to find the truth behind the murder of his wife. The show comes from the producers of The Killing and Fauda. From what we can see in the clip, you can expect a whole lot of fireworks from this one.

Master of None season 3

Emmy Award-winning series Master of None returns with a new season this May. It chronicles the relationship of Denise (Lena Waithe) and her partner Alicia (Naomi Ackie) and intimately illustrates the ups and downs of marriage, fertility struggles, and personal growth both together and apart.

Hacks

HBO Max original Hacks explores a dark mentorship that forms between a legendary Las Vegas comedian (Jean Smart) who’s lost her popularity and an entitled 25-year-old comedy writer (Hannah Einbinder). The ten-part show will start airing on May 13 so if you’re up for some chuckles this month, you could give this one a watch.

Nine Perfect Strangers

This star-studded Hulu original comes from the creators of The Big Little Lies and The Undoing. The trailer introduces us to Tranquillum House run by Nicole Kidman, where in just 10 days people are transformed.
