Samsung to announce Galaxy S11 February 11 at Unpacked 2020
Samsung today set the stage for the Samsung Galaxy S11. The new flagship phone family, which may go by the name Galaxy S20, will mark its debut on February 11 in San Francisco at Unpacked 2020.
The company tipped its hand a recently thanks to a leaked video spotted by XDA Developers. The video depicts two squarish shapes moving beneath a cover and eventually emerging as part of Samsung’s Galaxy logo with the February 11 date highlighted below.
Even though Samsung Unpacked 2020 is official, the company is still playing things close to the vest. The video merely teases that there might be more than one phone on deck. Obviously the S11 family, which is expected to consist of the Galaxy S11, S11 Plus, and S11e — mirroring the 2018 S10 lineup — will be the meat-and-potatoes served at Unpacked.
It’s possible the second device could be the Galaxy Fold 2. Samsung hinted that it is already work on such a device. The Fold 2 may more closely resemble the Motorola Moto Razr than it does the original Galaxy Fold.
Samsung said it will “unveil new, innovative devices that will shape the next decade of mobile experiences.”
