Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Starts receiving Android Pie-based MIUI 10 Global Beta Update
A week back we have seen Xiaomi rolling out its Android 9 Pie based MIUI 10 beta 9.3.25 update and now it has started rolling out the next Global Beta 9.3.25 to the Note 5 Pro smartphone. The previous update bought system-wide beta dark mode and other main features and now the latest update will bring security patch for the beta users and it will be rolled out in phases so it might take some to reach your device.
The same news has been shared on the companies forum page which will be available only for the closed beta testers for now. This will be bringing Android security patch for the month of March 2019 and also few bug fixes. This also fixes virus scan errors along with the fixes for the battery indicator bug in the notification panel which will also fix issues of notifications displayed on the lock screen.
Well, talking about the device, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with 4GB and 6GB RAM options. There is a 4000mAh battery on the back with MicroUSB 2.0 port with 10W fast charging support and comes in 32GB as well as 64GB storage options and the handset is available in Black, Blue, Rose Gold, and Gold color variants.
Furthermore, it is was the companies first handset to come with a dual-camera setup on the rear with a 12MP main rear-facing camera sensor while it is accompanied by a 5MP secondary sensor.
