Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition specs: Zoom with a side of zoom

Even with a shark fin pop-up selfie camera, three rear cameras, and an in-display fingerprint sensor, the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom Edition is the latest eye-catching smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer. The phone is also much more than meets the eye, so let’s take a quick look at its specifications.

Before we dive in, note that the 10x Zoom Edition doesn’t have a 10x optical sensor. Instead, the third camera from the top is a 5x optical sensor that is also capable of 6x and 10x hybrid zoom. Huawei pulls off a similar trick with the P30 Pro, but we don’t know yet whether Oppo’s implementation stands up to Huawei’s.

Also, there is a regular version of the Reno that steps down to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, a slightly smaller 6.4-inch display, and a smaller 3,765mAh battery. That said, the regular Reno features a headphone jack and an IP rating to protect it from water and dust.
