Netflix is betting big on gaming amid subscriber and revenue loss. Last year, the streaming platform hired Mike Verdu, the former head of Electronic Arts’ mobile gaming division, to lead its in-house gaming efforts. It’s even acquiring third-party gaming studios to crank up its exclusive collection. So it’s fair to say that the platform is very serious about its new venture.
