New OnePlus Nord CE update brings September patch, adds Files by Google
Welcome to the OnePlus Nord CE update hub. Here you’ll find the latest information on updates to the Nord CE. We’ll detail the current software versions for the device and alert you if there’s a new update rolling out. OnePlus usually pushes out Oxygen OS updates to its devices fairly regularly, and we expect the same treatment for the Nord CE.

Latest OnePlus Nord CE updates
September 27, 2021: The OnePlus Nord CE is gaining a new update this week (h/t XDA). Numbered as Oxygen OS 11.0.9.9, the latest patch weighs in at 135MB. It brings system stability improvements and bug fixes, the ability to screenshot ambient display, and the Files by Google app. The update also includes the September 2021 Android security patch.

As always, the update is rolling out in increments, so don’t be too concerned if you don’t already have access to it. To check if an update is available, head to Settings > System > System updates on your device.
Previous OnePlus Nord CE updates
- August 24, 2021: Oxygen OS 11.0.6.6 rolled out to devices in India, North America, and Europe. It brought the July 2021 Android security patch, the June GMS upgrade, and “optimized camera effects.”
- July 30, 2021: OnePlus rolled out Oxygen OS 11.0.5.5 to the Nord CE. The patch the phone’s overheating issues and fixed other known problems. The camera received touch-ups to image clarity, white balance consistency, and Nightscape mode.
- July 5, 2021: The June 2021 security patch is rolled out to the OnePlus Nord CE. Oxygen OS 11.0.4.4 also packed improvements to the phone’s general performance, including charging speed and face unlock. The camera system also saw some love, with reduced noise in dark areas of Nightscape photos and more.
- June 2021: Oxygen OS 11.0.3.3 rolled out to the device in mid-June. It brought improvements to HDR, Nightscape, and 1080p 60fps still and video modes. Also included were “communication stability” improvements and general system fixes.
- June 2021: The Nord CE received its first update in the form of Oxygen OS 11.0.2.2. The update brought improvements to the device’s stability, selfie portrait performance, and display color calibration. It also packed the May 2021 Android security patch.
