Last minute Pixel 5 images hint at a departure from huge flagships
- A new leak has given has a good, real-world look at the Google Pixel 5.
- The phone definitely seems like one to watch if you want a smaller device.
We’ve seen a ton of Google Pixel 5 leaks in the run-up to today’s launch event, ranging from specs and pricing to renders and more. We’ve seen a few real-world images too, but a last-minute leak has now given us another good look at the new flagship.
Frequent leaker Jon Prosser has posted two real-world images on Twitter, showing what appears to be a Google Pixel 5 running retail software. Check out the images below.
The pictures are in line with previous reports, showing off a punch-hole cutout on the front, a dual rear camera housing with rounded corners, and a rear fingerprint scanner. The picture showing the back of the Pixel 5 also seems to corroborate previous claims and disclosures that the phone will have a brushed rear cover of sorts.
These pictures could give us a good idea of what to expect in terms of size as well. This isn’t exactly the best way to judge the phone’s size and ergonomics, but it definitely seems like those looking for a smaller high-end phone should keep an eye on the Pixel 5.
Other Pixel 5 leaks point to a phone with a Snapdragon 765G processor, 128GB of storage, a 6-inch 90Hz OLED screen, and a 4,080mAh battery. The phone is also believed to pack a 12MP main plus 16MP ultra-wide rear camera pairing.
