Galaxy Note Plus 5G image leaks: Expect free Note 10 with Verizon pre-orders

We’ve seen plenty of leaked renders pertaining to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. Now, we’ve received an apparent look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G, as well as potential U.S. details.

Serial tipster Evan Blass posted a leaked promotional image of the phone on Twitter (locked account). The picture seems to show the front of the 5G model but the back of the standard Galaxy Note 10. The triple rear camera setup and smaller size both seem like firm giveaways that we’re indeed looking at the back of the vanilla Note 10. After all, the Note 10 Plus is said to offer a larger screen size and more rear cameras.

Furthermore, the leaked image notes (heh) that you’ll get a free Galaxy Note 10 if you pre-order the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G via Verizon on its unlimited plan. The image text also states users can get the device first via Verizon, suggesting it will be a timed-exclusive for the carrier.

Editor's Pick

This wouldn’t be the first time Verizon had a timed-exclusive for a Samsung 5G phone, as the company got first dibs with the Galaxy S10 5G too. Verizon launched the S10 5G in mid-May, but the likes of Sprint and T-Mobile offered the device at the end of June. So you can likely expect a similar period of exclusivity before the Note 10 Plus 5G lands on other U.S. carriers.

Samsung’s late 2019 flagships are said to pack a Snapdragon 855 (possibly Plus) or Exynos 9820 processor, center-mounted punch-hole cutout, and an upgraded S-Pen. If the Galaxy Note 10 5G is anything like the S10 5G, then we can also expect more cameras and a bigger battery. Would you buy a 5G phone right now? Let us know in the comments!
